Day 3, Human Enviroment Interactions at Cardigan
Sawyer Z.
Day three was scheduled to be a short day due to sports, but it was probably for the best. The whole day revolved around human environment interactions, due to the weather. It poured for most of the day, and drizzled the rest. We arrived at around 9 and left at around 1:30, so we didn’t get to do much hiking. We wouldn't anyway if it was a full day, because it was miserable. We only did a little compass scavenger hunt activity, and a short nature loop interrupted by a drawing activity. During the scavenger hunt, we looked at an old, rusted car littering the forest floor, but for some reason everyone thought it was really cool. It was a perfect example of humans interacting, or effecting, the enviorment. We then said goodbye to our guides and got changed into our sport uniforms. But when we arrived at the school around 2:30, we figured out that our games had been cancelled due to the weather, so it was just a few less hours having to stand in the rain. Bonus!
